History

Three generations of the de Aldecoa family have worked to bring the Maximus group of companies to the forefront of the coffee industry. From its founding in Madrid, Spain in the 1920s to Cordoba, Mexico in the 1940s, to its current location, Houston, Texas in the 1980's, the family has been involved in every aspect of the coffee industry. From coffee plantations to wet mills, roasting, decaffeination, trading and retail brands, the de Aldecoas have done it all.

The family now competes in the coffee industry on the global stage, offering world-wide services of the highest quality, incorporating over 81 years of expertise with modern technologies and systems.
