Distribution
The Maximus facility is more than 900,000 square feet, covering 17 acres
in downtown Houston, Texas. There is more than 180,000 square feet of onsite
space for distribution, with an additional 250,000 square feet of offsite storage.
The rail-served facilities provide storage, consolidation and shipping.
Houston, the fourth-largest city in the United States, is centrally located for distribution to both coasts, Mexico, Canada, and abroad. Houston has:
- one of the nation’s busiest rail centers, with 12 mainline tracks radiating from Houston,
- 575 miles of highways and expressways,
- the sixth-largest airport system in the world, and
