Maximus has been a family-owned business for three generations. The hard work and determination of the de Aldecoa family, has helped Maximus become the largest coffee roasting plant in the US. Today, Maximus is committed to being the premier coffee and related products manufacturing group in North America.

As a leader in its industry, Maximus constantly embraces new technologies and is now the only roasting plant in North America to offer CO₂ water decaffeination on a large scale, as well as soluble processing and packaging. In 2006, Maximus purchased the former Kraft-Maxwell House Coffee Plant in Houston,Texas. The plant is the largest, most integrated coffee facility in North America and has been in operation for more than 60 years.
